I said in my last ‘stress free’ post that I’d look at my list and work through it. Now obviously I don’t want writing about this journey to be stressful so I am taking my time with the blog posts. I think my first port of call will be dealing with mess in the house as that’s something I’m trying to tackle this week, especially now we are thinking of Christmas and all the new toys!! So hopefully after I’ve got some pictures taken ill get that post up for you. But for now I thought it best to take small steps
I had a meltdown the other day and as always once I came around to sane thinking again I kicked myself up the butt and wanted to take charge! I figured a good place to start was to get some reading done.
So i bought two books: Brilliant Stress Management and Teach Yourself Beat Stress with CBT and the yoga DVD - Kundalini Yoga – to Detox and De-stress – Includes bonus music CD featuring Maya [DVD]. I also got a notebook to complete some of the exercises in the books. I’ll post about the DVD in a week or so and i’ll give an update on the books soon, in the mean time while i’m reading them i’ll be continuing my original plan and working through my list of stressers.
